Best Caribbean Music Video Nominations Start Strong
The Caribbean Film Awards is proud to announce that the new Best Caribbean Music Video category is starting strong with two powerful first nominations.
Leading the charge is Steppah by Sharon Marley, a bold visual statement that fuses rhythm, style, and cultural storytelling into a celebration of Caribbean musical legacy.
Joining the category is Donkey Call (Hill-Gully) by Ayetian, a vibrant video rooted in folk tradition and rural island life, bringing the iconic sound of the donkey call to the screen through vivid characters and generations-spanning heritage.
"These first two nominations show the extraordinary range of Caribbean music video artistry — from reggae royalty to folk-inspired storytelling," said the Caribbean Film Awards selection committee. "We are thrilled to honor this art form and the directors, artists, and production teams behind it."
Submissions are now closed across all categories.
